Open your eyes and be grateful
It was snowing last night… and it opened a new world on how I should look at things…
Well, I am a Russian girl who was born in Siberia. Snow is a common thing for me. I still admire it and see some magic in it. I have wonderful winter memories of how I jumped off the roof to a snowdrift or sliding down the hill. I remember a cheerful call from my best friend that it is just minus 30 outside and we should go ice skating. Yesterday, seeing adults running and skiing down the alley on their shoes, I understood that I don’t appreciate it as much as I used to. Some people have never seen snow!
There are so many things that we take for granted. So open your eyes and be grateful for the ‘’usual’’ and see it as something special!
